do not make any non-refundable travel plans until
your course registration has been confirmed.
Class Details: Please check the schedule for each day of your particular course as times can vary based on the instructor and location. We ask that you schedule your travel so that you do not arrive late to class or need to leave early. Students who do not attend a full day of class will not receive any CE credit hours for that day and may have to return to make up the missing hours.
We will be doing labs on the floor as well as outdoors so please dress comfortably (scrubs, shorts, sandals, tank tops). The classroom may get chilly at times so bring a light jacket or long-sleeve shirt. Also, allow enough room in your suitcase for your text and lab book as well as any materials you may purchase.
We require that all dogs be current with vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, parvovirus, bordetella, CIV and leptospirosis, and have had a negative fecal test within 6 months. Dogs must also be treated for fleas and heartworm prior to attending class. Please contact us if you plan to bring your dog.
Note: If you are attending the Canine Rehabilitation Veterinary Nursing course (formerly called Canine Rehabilitation Assistant), bring your Intro lab book with anatomy notes and color photos with you.

it is their responsibility to obtain the documents
required for travel to the United States.
This process has slowed down considerably
since 9/11, so check waiting times and plan
ahead! In additional to a valid passport,
residents from countries that are not exempt
from a visa requirement will need to apply
for a Business Visitor Visa (B-1). For up-to-date
information, check with the U.S. Consulate
in your country, or go to the Visas section of the U.S. State Department website, https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en.html.

Courses are held at Colorado Veterinary Specialty Group's new location in Littleton, Colorado, which opened in July 2020.

Airports / Ground Transportation
Littleton is located 9 miles south of downtown Denver and 33 miles from Denver International Airport (DEN). We recommend using services like Uber and Lyft for ground transportation in the area, including to and from the airport.
Hotel Accommodations
We have arranged discounted CRI rates with the Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows in Lone Tree, Colorado and Residence Inn Denver/Highlands Ranch in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Students are also welcome to make reservations at other hotels in the area or find accommodations through rental services such as Airbnb and VRBO.

The Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows is providing a complimentary daily hotel shuttle to and from Colorado Veterinary Specialty Group. The hotel does not allow pets or provide airport shuttle service. It does offer free access to an indoor pool and fitness center.
